Small stories that magnify their small ambitions, pettiness, hope, and discouragement, which for each of them are moving, definitive and tragic. Innumerate all of them – rather forgotten with the greatest indifference – in a city overwhelmed by a burlesque coup d’État in Caracas, Venezuela, in April 2002.

Me, My Ex and Her Kidnappers

Me, My Ex and Her Kidnappers is a gory dark comedy about an architect named Carlota who must save her ex-girlfriend, Barbara, from a band of misfit kidnappers. At her job and in her personal life, Carlota is known for being an obsessive perfectionist whose biggest fear is not attaining the success that her overbearing grandparents expect of her. With the goal of securing a big promotion at work, Carlota works day and night to create a building model to impress her boss. When her partner, Barbara, brings home a stray dog one night, her new pet wrecks the building model and Carlota suddenly ends their relationship out of anger. Immediately after the break-up, a violent criminal named Juan Bueno Santos, along with the help of his pastry chef brother, Pedro, and their insatiable lover, Cristina, kidnaps Barbara for ransom money. As Barbara tries to avoid being chopped up into pieces by her kidnappers, Carlota must learn to readjust her priorities and confront her fears to save the woman she loves.

METRALLETA, is a wonderfull journey that follows a virtuoso musician of the “criolla arp”. Carlos “METRALLETA” Orozco was born in Barquisimeto. HE began to play the arp when he still a kid without formal instruction. The Colombian press name him “METRALLETA” because he moves his fingers extremely fast and shot notes. Through the time this incredible musician develop a personal and unique style, and today is admired a respested all around the wordl. Today Carlos, only 40 years old had shown venezuelan harp in diferent musical festivals in England, Japan, United States, Germany, etc. METRALETA is a documentary that show us the son, yhe housband, the father, the friend, the master, the musician.
